Product details
The strategy focuses on three goals. The first is preparing all learners for the global context, by promoting global citizenship in the curriculum, twinning all schools with schools overseas and implementing the national language strategy.
Secondly, working with international partners to achieve mutually beneficial goals. For example: making the EU the world’s most competitive and dynamic knowledge-based economy.
Lastly, maximising the contribution of the education, training, and university research sector to overseas trade and inward investment.
The DfES currently funds in the region of £36 million to international work and needs to ensure maximum impact of this funding.
