2020 Children and Young People's Workforce Strategy: Report of Children's Workforce Practitioners Workshops

This report arises from work commissioned by the DCSF as part of the evidence-gathering exercise for the Expert Group on the Children's Workforce which is supporting the development of a long term strategy for the children's workforce.

CWDC was commissioned to organise and facilitate a series of practitioner workshops in different local authority areas across England in order to generate case studies that could be used to inform and illustrate the emerging Strategy.

In particular, it was intended that the workshops should allow practitioners from a variety of sectors, occupations and settings to share their views with the Expert Group on how attitudes, behaviours, knowledge and skills of individual members of the workforce, and the ways in which people with different professional backgrounds work together.
